En la longitud del palo influyen tu altura, la longitud de tus brazos y tu stance.
Aquí tienes algo de ayuda.
Iron Club Length?
On a hard surface, wearing golf or street shoes, stand comfortably erect with shoulders perfectly level and arms hanging comfortably from your sides. Now measure the distance from the floor to the major crease in your wrist. Measure the right and left wrists and use the average.
A wrist-to-floor measurement will give you the best length to achieve the proper lie angle with the irons. A proper lie angle is crucial in the shorter irons. Toe up will result in pulled shots and toe down will result in pushed shots.
A proper lie angle can be achieved by adjusting other than just length. The lie can also be adjusted so that different lengths can be used. Most investment cast clubs will allow for a 2º-lie adjustment and forged clubs can be adjusted 3º to 4º. Most of the irons on this site have a recommended 5-iron length of 38.0”. Suppose your wrist-to-floor measurement shows that you should use a 37.0” 5-iron but you don’t want to sacrifice any distance. Instead of getting a 37.0” 5-iron you could order a 38.0” 5-iron adjusted 2º flat. Now you have the proper lie angle at the length you desire. My recommendation is to use a 5-iron length ranging from 37.5” to 38.5” so that a normal swingweight can be achieved and use a lie adjustment to achieve the correct lie angle.
Adjusting lie angle and length: Bend 1º upright for every ½” shorter you make a club. Bend 1º flat for every ½” longer you make a club.
